Admissions Process

The admissions process involves completing a standard ACPE application, an interview for program fit, and finalizing all clinical placement requirements.

Admissions Process Overview

Inquiring, Applying, Engaging

Students are encouraged to read the Uplift website and apply by completing a standard application that all ACPE programs use. Take care to prepare your application, essays, and materials, proofreading them so that they communicate your intentions for CPE. Written materials are evaluated for fit by the certified educator and treated as the first introduction of the student. After applicants are invited to interview, a decision is made as to fit for the educational aims of CPE, readiness of the clinical placement, resonance with the program and developing group dynamics.

Uplift Application Process

Step 1: Apply

Complete the entire ACPE application form through this site. Incomplete applications will not be considered. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours of submitting your application, please email education@upliftcare.net.

Step 2: Interview

Participate in a virtual interview if invited, with results being given 1-3 weeks following the conversation.

Step 3: Accept

Upon receiving an invitation to Uplift’s program, applicants are considered enrolled upon Uplift’s receipt of the non-refundable tuition deposit of $350, payable online. Waitlist participants will be notified during the response to the interview.

Step 4: Complete

Invited applicants should complete the clinical placement and consent form, sending it with the deposit or by seven days before the unit at the latest. Complete the acknowledgement form by the first day of CPE.

Applying

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Groups are listed and prospective students are encouraged to connect about the group(s) of interest by following the application procedures. Applications should be well-written, proofread, and thorough, given the aims of the learning in a post-graduate level continuing education experience. There is no application fee.
